CRAPS - THE COME OUT ROLL
The first roll of any shooter at the craps table is called the (The Come Out Roll).
If the shooter bets on the Pass Line and the first roll is a 7 or 11, he or she is an automatic winner along with all the other players that bet on the Pass Line.
If the shooter Craps Out by rolling (2-3 or 12) the shooter and all players who bet on the Pass Line (Right Betters) automatically lose.
If the shooter rolls any other number (4-5-6-8-9 or 10) that number then becomes the point.
Once the point has been established, a disk marked “on” is placed in the box containing that number.
At this point, players can start to bet Free-Odds on the Line bets. The shooter then continues trying to roll the point number as often as possible, while trying to avoid rolling a 7.
If the shooter rolls a 7 before the point, (Seven Out) the result is a loss.
As long as the shooter is rolling for the point and does not roll a 7 or the point is won there are numerous bets a player can make.
COME OUT ROLLS OCCUR...
After the previous shooter sevens Out, a new shooter is “Coming Out.”
After the shooter rolls a 7 or 11 on a previous come-out roll (Automatic on Pass Line Bets) the same shooter is coming out.
After the shooter Craps Out (2-3 or 12) on the previous come-out roll, the same shooter is “coming out.”
After the shooter makes the point by repeating it before rolling a 7, the same roller is “coming out.”
