CRAPS ODDS
There are two dice used in a game of craps, so calculating all of the combinations possible aren’t very difficult, there are thirty six possible combinations the dice may fall on. Below is a list of all possibilities:
2 1-1
3 1-2 2-1
4 1-3 3-1 2-2
5 1-4 4-1 2-3 3-2
6 1-5 5-1 2-4 4-2 3-3
7 1-6 6-1 2-5 5-2 3-4 4-3
8 2-6 6-2 3-5 5-3 4-4
9 3-6 6-3 4-5 5-4
10 4-6 6-4 5-5
11 5-6 6-5
12 6-6
It should be quite obvious to even the simplest of people after studying the chart that 7 is the most common number, and that 1 and 12 are the least likely to roll. The true odds of any one roll of the dice are listed below.
| To roll a 7 | 5-1 |
To roll a 6 or 8 | 6.2-1 |
To roll a 5 or 9 | 8-1 |
To roll a 4 or 10 | 11-1 |
To roll a 3 or 11 | 17-1 |
To roll a 2 or 12 | 35-1 |

Not all bets on craps pay true odds:
The centre bet on a roll of 7 pays 4 to 1 - the true odds are 5 to 1.
This is how the casino makes its percentage, so it’s important that you study the charts above and find out where the best odds are available on the craps table before you lose a lot of cash.
