Paradise poker.com is about to kick off its latest live poker tournament at the Atlantis Resort and Casino on Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
The action begins on Tuesday, May 9th, 2006.
Paradise poker are expecting to have around 350 players battling for a first place payoff, expected to be approximately $500,000.
The players have already started to arrive at the world famous resort. I had the pleasure of talking one participant myself Larry Wallace from the San Francisco Bay Area. Larry said that he’s been playing poker most of his adult life but only recently started playing online poker. He qualified by winning a $10 dollar tournament online and is hoping that his experience over the years playing live poker may just give him a slight edge over some of today’s young internet wiz kids.
