POKER TOURNAMENTS


As this year's WSOP draws closer and with an estimated $10 MILLION payout for the winner, the poker world is really starting to heat up!!


Atlantis Paradise Island Resort and Casino in Nassau,Bahamas is the chosen venue for the conquest of Paradise Poker tournament, May 9-13. There is expected to be a field of 350 plus players for this tournament and first place should expect to collect around a $½ million.


Recently the Atlantis casino played host to Poker Stars
Caribbean adventure tournament as well as a smaller tournament from the Canadian poker tour and let me not forget about the Michael Jordon charity celebrity poker tournament which was hosted by professional poker player Phil Gordon.


It seems to me there’s a lot of poker taking place at this particular resort especially when you take into consideration the resort doesn’t have a poker room of its own.

The WPT Fox Woods Poker Classic April 6-9 at Fox Woods Casino, Connecticut and the WSOPC Harrah’s, May 25-28 in New Orleans.
