The Caribbean Island of St Lucia recently approved plans to open it's first Casino. Authorities have announced that the Casino is to have have 350 slots and 14 gaming tables and is expected to be open by December 2006.

Treasure Bay CORP LLC of Biloxi Mississippi said the casino would be 15,000 square foot and would provide employment for over 300 full time workers.

This is all thanks to some progressive thinking by the SLP Goverment who have been in power since 1997.
