This game was originaly known as "Brag",a game that has been played in Britain for around 400 years.
Derrek Webb redesigned the game to fit a casino format and it was introduced into British casinos in 1994. The game has grown to become a popular game in most parts of the casino world.
3 Card Poker is a very simple game using only three cards to make your hand. There are only two bets in this game: the first is called "Pair Plus". If you make a bet on the pair plus you do not have to beat the dealer's hand. You will win automaticly if you have any of the following hands.
Pair Plus Payouts:
Straight Flush 40-1
Three-of-a-Kind 30-1
Straight 6-1
Flush 4-1
Pair Even Money
The second bet is made on the "Ante". If you have a hand that you believe will beat the dealer's hand, you must back-up the original wager with an equal amount. Your pay-offs would be even money on both wagers, but you must beat the dealer's hand. The dealer needs at least 'Queen High' to qualify. In the event the dealer doesn't qualify and you've stayed in the hand, by backing up your bet you will win on the Ante. There is also a bonus payout if you play the ante whether the dealer qualifies or not.
Ante Bonus Payouts: Straight Flush 5-1
Three-of-a-Kind 4-1
straight Even Money
You may play "Pair Plus" only, "Ante" only or both.
